Happy Easter to our sweet angel, Christy...love you so!!
This is the first Thanksgiving that we are celebrating without you & your wonderful cooking! But, I know that you will hear all of us talking about all that we are thankful for. You, Missy have always been on that list!! The one thought that has sustained me since you went home to Him, is that you are forever more at peace. I love you
Gone too soon and so young...RIP Christy...

Who needs that many clothes??
This is my testimony on just how much I loved our sweet Christy! Okay people, one week Grandpa Don & Grandma Glenda went on a vacation & Bobby & I were the designated 'Keepers of the House'. Sure, no problem at all. Well, one day I went over to check on things with Travis, who at the time was about 9 yrs. old. Cut to the chase, Christy had been staying there for a short while & asked me if I would mind doing a 'COUPLE' of loads of laundry for her. Of course I would, & when I went in the garage where the washing machine & dryer where I think I uttered under my breath..WTH..only because Trav was within hearing distance!!. I had to hurdle over a 6 ft. tall of clothes to even find the washer & dryer...oh yeah...long day for sure!! I want you all to know that 18 loads later....holy pooh...really?? I had washed, dryed, soted, folded, & place all in her room. This girl would absolutely wait until she had no clean clothes left before the "Oh, I need to wash a little something first before I walk out that door!" Was she happy for the favor? Oh yes!! Did she offter of pay for a whole new bottle of detergent? Yes, but I had beat her to the punch. She worked & worked so hard at what she did best, keeping all who knew her so dear at her job feel welcomed & loved that who was I not to return that with no questions asked!! I loved the fact that by doing that for her was my way of saying "Go, go & no worries anymore"! But really, 'Who has that many clothes?? Love it!!! :)
