Clara Barriga Manabat, 88, born in Waimea, passed away on Jan. 6, 2021, of COVID-19 complications, in Torrance Memorial Hospital in Torrance, California. She was born Dec. 29 1932.
She was preceded in death by husband Innocentio Manabat of Kapa‘a, and brothers Alejandro Barriga and Piligrino Barriga.
She is survived by son Rodney Dale Manabat, wife Tanya Manabat, son Terrence Kieve Manabat, daughter Carmela Manabat Clements and her husband Dino Clements, grandchildren Matthew Manabat, Marissa and David Casillas, Morgan Manabat, Stephanie Clements and Kimberlee Clements, and siblings Rosita Delanoza, Edwin Barriga, Priscilla Freitas, Walter Barriga and Patricia Dickerson.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services will be held at a later date."

I share Terrence's sentiment exactly. It's been over a year but I still cry cause you're gone. Miss you more then anyone realize....but someday we'll all be together again. Makes growing old & knowing our very few years left much much easier to accept.
