Clareen (nee Wielgus), 65, of Fair Lawn, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016. Clareen was born in Passaic, February 1, 1951, grew up in Garfield, lived in Bergenfield before moving to Fair Lawn 19 years ago. Prior to her retirement in 1995, she was as a Computer Analyst for the American Broadcasting Company, Inc., in Hackensack where she met her future husband, Joe.  They were married on Leap Year Day 1992. She was a parishioner of Ss. Peter & Paul Polish National Catholic Church in Passaic. Clareen loved to travel especially Sea World Orlando where she loved to feed the sting rays, and anywhere out West where there were mountains. She was into crafting, collecting more designs than she had time to make. She spent time on Facebook chatting with friends. Despite her many health issues, she was always cheerful and had a smile. She enjoyed life and the people she knew. Clareen was the beloved wife of 24 years to Joe Bassani, cherished daughter of the late John and Clara (nee Dombrowski) Wielgus, dear sister of the late John Wielgus and Baby John Wielgus, dear cousin of Lois Tylutki of Garfield, William and Kathleen Wielgus in Arizona, and her cats "Skwootch, Rosie, Janey, and LaVerne", and favorite stuffed animal "Smudge".
