Clarence’ hard working life

February 14, 2021

Clarence was a hard working man.  He held down two jobs almost through his lif and then went down to one but was still working day and night as an oil delivery man.  He serviced the construction sites by night.  Clarence had many people that loved him so much, especially his co workers and family. Not a day that goes by that we don’t think of him. He had a major stroke at the age of 63 and spent 4 and 1/2 years at home with me taking care of him. He didn’t walk’ talk and had the mine of a teenager.  Then I had to place him in a nursing home because as a caregiver it was too much for me.  For 6 years he was constantly in bed until one day I asked the Good Lord to come and get him because he was suffering to much.  I travel 18 miles every day to go see him.  That was also hard, sometimes staying till 9 pm.  The day he passed I was probably 10 minutes late to see him go.  He had had enough.  I will never regret what I did for my precious husband.  He was the love of my life.

He was a member of the KC and also volunteered time there when he first started and then it was too much for him, At his funeral Mr Roger Bosse represented  the KC.

At his funeral he was well represented by the town people and and his co workers and had a nice service.
