Dear Paulette I hope you’re doing well I know it’s a difficult time for the family, loosing your love ones and at such a young age, please accept my deepest condolences. I pray God will continue to strengthen you and the family I know the feeling of loosing and missing a love one, but we know that we will meet again; so let her go to rest in the arms of her savior Jesus Christ. Blessings to you always ‍♂️❤️Xxx

Sleep on, and take your rest;
Lay down your head upon the Saviour’s breast;
You were well loved, but Jesus loves you best;
But we remember because your soul was love itself

Love and best wishes to all the family.

Claudette, I wish that I could have been there today to pay my respects to you.
Losing a friend at any age is hard but becomes even more so in your later years; so many memories and so much to reflect on since we first met so many years ago. I am still grieving for the loss of you but can honestly say that I find some comfort in those memories of our times together and know that as times goes on these memories will become even more precious.

You were truly a remarkable woman and although I know it was never up to me I think you left us too soon. I know how much your family have lost with your passing. My love and prayers are with them daily and I hope with each passing day that their grief and sadness becomes easier to bear.

Rest in peace my dear friend; missing you now and forevermore. Love Janet

Dear Claudette
I still cannot believe that you’ve gone, heaven really has gained a beautiful angel, you are beautiful inside and out and highly regarded by everyone.
You were the best manager anyone could wish for and always had the best interest of children and young people in your heart, loved our evening chats talking about a possible placement then ending up talking for over an hour about food, music and Jamaica etc.
I’m missing you so much and am devastated that you have left us.
Fly high beautiful princess with the knowledge that everyone loved you

Claudette, I just want to wish peace and strength to your children. They paid a lovely tribute to you today and you would have been proud. 58 is no age but I know this pain well as we lost our mother at the same age almost 24 years ago. The pain never goes but you learn how to cope. God bless those you have left behind and may they continue to represent your legacy to the fullest. Rest well in perfect peace.

What a beautiful service for a beautiful lady, you did her proud. The readings were exceptional and I could see Claudette pulling her faces and rolling her eyes. Claudette was a very special person who obviously touched so many peoples lives. Although I wasn't in her life everyday I knew that I could just pick up the phone and she would always be there. She was one of those friends who doesn't matter when we last spoke we would always fall back into conversation like it was yesterday when we last did. Proud to say she was my friend. x

Dearest Pat,

It’s with the deepest sadness that I write this heartfelt tribute.

I’ve known Yvonne for over 25 years now and the first time I met you was in 1998 when Yvonne had a birthday party. You opened the door with a smile and kept that smile every time I met you (You always felt present in the moment whenever I spoke to you).

I remember over the years, when I did see you, you were always nice to me and showed an interest in how I was getting on, albeit, that the conversations were brief.

What I do hold close to my heart is that in one of the darkest periods in my life, you invited me to your home and advised me on how I could deal with the trauma that was unfolding in front of me.Your advice produced life changing positive outcomes and continue to make a huge change in our lives. For that I am / will always hold you close to my heart.

You have done such an amazing job as a parent / grandparent and that can be clearly scene by how your children carry themselves / contribute to the community in such a positive way.

You will be dearly missed by everyone who came into contact with you. Rest in eternal peace.

Love always,

Peter Young & Family

There are two times in my life where you made an impact and I never got to thank you.
The first was when you took me in and allowed me to be part of your family. You didn’t have to, but you did anyway. Thank you
The second was when I became a mother myself and you offered me wisdom, ideas and support. You didn’t have to but you did. Thank you.
It is sad that we don’t realise I persons influence until they are gone.

To My Beautiful Aunty Pat,

I wanted to take the time to thank you for the many things that you have contributed to our family. I am most thankful for the love and care you have given to me.

I want to honour the fact that you are and will always be a PHENOMENAL WOMAN!

Thank you for all the things you’ve allowed me to be apart of, and given me countless amounts of inspiration, which has led me down different paths.

I am happy that I’ve had a chance to experience you in my lifetime, and even though you are no longer with us in the flesh I know you will continuously guide us in sprit.

Aunty Pat, if I can amount and do even a fraction of the things you’ve managed to do in your life, I know that I will be a successful woman!

Thank you for the countless holidays, sleepovers (my second home), advice, jokes, talks, lessons and most of all thank you for being YOU!

I will continue to grow and be the woman that you will continue to be proud of.

I will always honour and keep family values close to my heart as I know this is something you were passionate about.

I’ll always be your little “Mince-Meat” as you called me. Thank you for also giving my precious daughter the nickname of “Ginja/Ginger”. I will never let her forget and ensure she will always remember.

Love you sooo much x

Rest in Everlasting Peace xxx

Hi Pat,

It saddens me to know you are no longer here with us, I could remember in the beginning when I first met you, you took me in like your own son, even at Christmas times when you dished my plate than I looked at Leroy’s plate and it was the same as mine, I then said to myself yes I’m in the family. Because of you my spelling has gotten better because everyone joked about my spelling during Christmas games (Spelling Bee), I remember all the great holidays we had, Jamaica, St Lucia, Barbados, Turkey and many more. Lets not forget the trip to Blackpool with the dodgy people carrier that kept over heating.

We had some great times the memories are endless, you will be greatly missed. You was a role model to many, and as I have had the pleasure of knowing the family for over 20 years I know that they will be strong and cuddle together to over come these sad times and stay strong for the future.

As the father of your grandsons I will do my best to support them in these times and through out there lives.

Rest in Peace

Lots of love and memories

Dearest Pat, Words cannot express the shock and hurt I felt when I heard that you passed away. I can remember the great memories when we was all going to church together. I remember the times when you Paulette, Esmeline & I used to sneaked out of our house at weekends to go parties in Brixton. We used to have the best times together. The places we use to go in Brixton was unbelievable. We just used to walk down Railton Road and listen where the music was coming from, there was always a dance in those days. Our parents was very strict but that didn’t phase us we still found a way of having fun. Some times it would be on a Friday & Saturday nights . We didn’t care that we had to wake up in time for church the next day...I can also remember we going to church on Sunday morning trying to keep our eyes opened & nodding off in service. Thank you Pat for being apart of my life. I can hear your laughters and your big smiles. Your memories will always be with me. You will be greatly missed by all. Rest in Peace Pat ❤️❤️❤️

Pat this has not been easy to say these few words, I will always remember you.

We was all very young but I remember when you ask me to be Godmother to your first born (Yvonne).

We had so much fun growing up with you and your siblings, going to church was good, but sneaking out at night going party’s that was also good, the best part of the party memories was when you and your sisters came back home from the party, when you was going to climb back through the window, your mother was sleeping on your bed waiting for you!

I only have good memories of you we never have a dull moment, when we should be serious when having conversation with each other, sometimes we would just look at each other and burst out laughing!

Those happy years will always be with me,
Rest in peace my dear beloved x
