Granny has always shared her words of wisdom with me! One that she told me when I was a little boy; "Never spend your last dollar out of your wallet"! And still till this day I aways make sure I never spend that last dollar.

There is so many more but that is one that replays in my head every single time I open my wallet. 

 I remember driving down to San Jose to go swimming in Uncle Leroi's pool. She made me feel so "small." She was in her eighties and swimming laps and I couldn't even swim past the stairs! I also loved going to the mall with her and trying on hats.

Whenever I went to California in the summer, she would make me peaches and sugar. I think she picked them off the tree in Aunty Marlene’s backyard. I remember thinking it was the best thing since slice bread :-)!!! To this day, I cannot have peaches and sugar and not think of her.

I remember going to granny's after school and watching soap operas w/her. She loved her soaps! I also remember her spaghetti, it was the best I ever had. To this day I still cant even come close to her special recipe. :)
