It was the Summer 2010, My boys and myself came up from Tennessee to stay at mom and dad's (Clay Covey) house for our 2 week summer vacation.

Every summer in the passed Canadian Lakes where my parents lived would have a fishing rodeo. I always took the boys fishing well my dad/Papa would stay back and clean fish for the fish fry. The summer of 2010, He told everyone he was taking his grandsons fishing that year and would not be helping because this maybe his last summer he was going to be able to take them fishing.

So my dad took us fishing. Dad drove the pontoon, I poles ready. My Dad found a place to fish. As soon as I got a worm on the hook I was taking a fish off. My got laughing and said I did a great job teaching you to fish.

That would be the last summer. This was a memory my boys and myself well never forget. The best day we ever had fishing with my Dad/Papa
