Daddy Ayegbusi, as we fondly call u, it was a rude shock to hear about your passing on to glory. I will never forget the day(2003)I told u that when we get to heaven I have lots of question I will ask God and you said " mama miracle wen we get to heaven u will not remember to ask any questions because of d beautiful things there." I said again daddy a we not going to there for eternity and u said "yes, but by the time I see all the golds that heaven is made up of I will forget all my questions." I still refer to u anytime I am over whelmed. The last time we saw u still prayed us. Continue to rest in d Lord. U will really be missed.

TRIBUTE TO EVER LOVING DAD
Most wonderful daddy, it was a rude shock to hear the news of your departure. i quickly remembered all the memories we shared , of how we use to discuss, father to daughter, taking your time to explain things to me, counselling me when whenever the need arises, praying for me, when i will come crying and you calm me down, speaking some words of encouragement and peace when i'm facing the challenge of this world, making me laugh over those things as if nothing has happened, i felt in my mind that who can always be there for me the way you are always there patiently listening to me, no no no one can ever take the place you occupy in my life,oh i wept thinking the end has come. When suddenly it done on me that you have gone to be with the Lord your savior and by the special grace of God we shall see again in the Palace of our God.

However dad your memories shall forever be in my heart. I MISS DAD

Tribute to Mr. Ayodele Clement Ayegbusi.

The news of your death was sad and disheartening.

You were a kind, gentle, humble, respectful man and so easy to talk to.

I remember the good memories of when you worked at the OPEC in Vienna and how you helped and reached out to the Community too.

May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen

Mmmm, my big caring brother who would have believed I will be writing in this space too soon after you prayed for my family and I early January, 2021. You said to to me: "Terngu, it is well, the Lord is your strength", that I should hold on to Jesus who never fails". You and Taiwo encouraged me tremendously.

My Big Brother, you are not gone but sleeping in the Lord.
Taiwo, Sola, Anu, Tolu, Kunle and grandchildren, the Lord is your strength. Your husband and father is still with you, just listen attentively...
With lots of love: Terngu, Terver, Nguher Oryiman and Nenge

I was shocked to hear that Clement has gone to be with the Lord. My consolation is that he served the Lord as a born again Christian and one that was baptised in the Holy Spirit. May his soul rest in peace.

Clement and I were class mates at Imade College, Owo, 1961-1965. He was very intelligent and highly brilliant. He was the college organist. If I remember correctly Clement and I were the only two students in our set that made grade 1 in the West African School certificate Examination in our final year.
God will comfort his wife and children. Continue to rest in peace my dear friend in the mansion that the Lord has prepared for you. Goodnight Clem.

My brother, my father in the Lord, my father figure, my confidant. Words cannot express who you were to me and the entire Aiyegbusi family. You were the Arole - you played your role faithfully and courageously to the very end. You led by example, you were a role model, a mentor to all of us in the family. Throughout your life time you brought honour to our family, your integrity was unmatched.
Always ready to listen, patient to attend to us, never stopped in offering words of encouragement. Ever ready to support. You touched my life in all aspects. You supported me when I was weak with a large shoulder to rest on. Your counsel was readily available.
You were loaded with virtues - whatever you believed in must be handled with exceptional standard and excellently done. You were humility exemplified and brilliance personified with high standard in all areas - physical and spiritual.
You served God steadfastly, faithfully in humility and excellence; ever punctual.
You touched my spiritual life all through, guiding and giving spiritual counsel, support and blessings. One among the very few I looked on to for prayers.
The void your passing has created in my life will never be filled, your place will be empty.
Every day I miss you. It’s so difficult for me to accept the reality that you have left us to be with the Lord.
My father in the Lord, my father figure, my brother, my confidant, my mentor - Pastor Clement Ayodele Ayegbusi - Arole ile Aiyegbusi, continue to rest in the Lord till we meet on the resurrection morning.

Dear Dad as the way i usually called you. I'm so glad for our time together Dad. You thought me a lot of things and always correct me in love too. I became your Son and there's nothing you don't share with me just like your biological and spiritual son. We are so much fond of each other such that we go to RCCG National mass choir rehearsals together. Whenever I'm strong and i tell you i don't feel like going, you immediately won't feel like going too, that's why i won't miss any rehearsal even when I'm so tired, I'll want to go because of you Dad. I even told you just at a week before you passed on that you shouldn't fast again and that I'll be fasting for you and we both laughed over it. I'm your personal driver, your talking companion, your internet tutor, your travel agent and most importantly, your spiritual son. I was so happy when you told me we are from the same Ose LGA in Ondo state. Daddymi, I'm really going to miss you so much and I'll miss your WhatsApp messages greatly too. I know you're in the best place right now Dad. I'll surely see you on the resurrection morning Dad and we'll forever be together again.......

Goodnight Dad.....

Dear Pst. Aiyegbusi,

I never realised the departure to your eternal home would be so soon. Rest in peace.
You were incomparable, honest, straightforward, calm under pressure and outspoken for justice, fairness and equity. I still have pleasant memories of our relationship and the family's in the course of service in God's vineyard.
You were a model of discipline, service and commitment to the work of God including the people of God.
What is gladdening is that you served God to the end.
Adieu Pastor Aiyegbusi. Your type comes once in a generation!!!

Pastor Clement Aiyegbusi was a father to me , my Pastor, My Spiritual father , and my Shepherd.
I must say this, my journey to the United Kingdom wouldn’t have been possible without his spiritual backings, Spiritual mentorship and ceaseless prayers .

Even when all hopes seems lost, his faith remains unshaken and this were his words to me “Busola let’s pray” so I’ll call him a man of great faith .

When I got to the UK his prayers opened many doors for me and there was no time I called that he didn’t pray for me . He prayed for me on the 1st of May the way he’s never prayed for me before. I know that prayer will be with me forever .

I am in tears writing this because I didn’t know it’ll be so soon , I don’t know what to write about him as he has loads of memorable pages in my book.
He was the best husband to my sister which any woman would pray for . If there’s another world after this I’ll still love for him to be my sisters husband .

He was an amazing man with great listening skills, he was a supportive man , when I lost my dad he came through as a father to me .

Daddy Aiyegbusi you’ll be well missed ! You lived a great life , you impacted many , you loved us all , there’s nothing I want to write that can quantify how much you were loved .

Rest in perfect peace my Daddy , Thank you for Everything Daddy, You’ll be well Missed.

Daddy Aiyegbusi as you are fondly called by my family and I. It's still a rude shock to me that I'll not see you physically again. Daddy, you were disciplined, caring and God-fearing. Daddy, you were my first pastor at Akute. You took interest in my family and usually called me Kemi. You took time to pray for my husband and I in December and I was wondering 'over what?' You took God's work with a lot of zeal and dedication. You never missed any programme except you're outside the country. I can go on and on... You took me personally to FOP and she granted your request concerning my job. You encouraged me to reach the pick of my career. Daddy, you were selfless and concerned about everyone but yourself. I can continue to say loads of things about you. You loved and lived for your wife, children, family and everyone you came in contact with. No wonder you were too precious to God, so He took you after you wine and dine with Him. He didn't want the communion to break...
Daddy Aiyegbusi, sleep on in the bosom of your Maker till resurrection morning
We love you but God loves you more. Good night Sir ❣️

Daddy Aiyegbus we received the news of your departure to glory with shock. You were sold out to the work of God and had concern for everyone who came your way. A leader of leaders. The way you led us at Akute taught us great lessons in leadership. My family in particular can not forget your kindness and help. You were compassionate and kind... always favourably disposed to us. We loved you but God loves you the most. Until we meet on the resurection morning, continue to rest at the bosom on the LORD. Good night sir.

Losing our dearest Daddy Ayegbusi is such an immense loss but we know that precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Daddy was an epitome of the love of Christ in all that he did.
We bless God for gifting him to us for a season. We learnt so much from him while we served under him at Akute including the eternal life of giving and service.
He was a strong shepherd for the church and strong spiritual daddy for the children he pastored over.
We are thankful to the God of grace that we have remained close to the family, continuously learning from his wisdom and advise through the last 22 or so years.
Hearing news of his transition to glory was so sad but we know that he rests in the bosom of his maker. We remain confident that we will meet again on resurrection day. Rest in perfect peace sir.

Daddy Ayegbusi is a Good definition of the phrase Good Elder in the church and Community ,the 2 spheres of life I interacted with him a lot, many never knew in so many leaders meeting of senior Pastors his gentle representation of some violent issues makes those meetings ended in Peace. He earned my respect for enduring open insult for his Age and international exposure that I take Issues to him,I will miss his gentle voice that can calm volcanic eruptions.I Pray God's Comfort and Grace for Mummy and the Children with their families.Rest on A peaceful Man,whose presence creates Peace.Goodnight My Beloved Elder and Secret Adviser

I am short of words concerning the parting of Daddy Ayegbusi as am fond of calling him.

I heard the message that Tura, come o, we don't understand how daddy Ayegbusi is doing; the next question I asked is am I to come over? And the caller said yes! She happened to be one of us and a good neighbour; Mrs Abina.

Daddy Ayegbusi is a complete gentleman that will counsel you from today till tomorrow; Daddy will bring your temperament down no matter the issue you come with.
Well, he has finished his assignment and left his foot print in the sand of time. It is now for me and you to ask ourselves, what are people going to say about us when we are no more?

May the soul of the departed rest in peace. Papa we love you but God loves you more.

Daddy Ayegbusi,

You lived such a peaceable life...one worthy of emulation.

You looked after your family....worthy of admiration.

You loved people.

You cared.

You had a gentle soft laugh and a permanent smile on your face.....any time I spoke to you on the phone I could almost see and hear the smile.

And above all...you served God therefore I know that you are resting on in Christ. So, we do not mourn as those that have no hope of meeting again on that perfect day.

May your ever gentle soul rest in perfect peace and may you enjoy eternal rest.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. (Psalm 116:15)

Dear Daddy: You were my Pastor, a counselor, a father figure and a teacher. You have run a good race and I'm convinced you're rejoicing and singing with the Angels. You lived an exemplary life of Kingdom service, giving, loving and left a tremendous legacy of integrity. My first memory of you was sometime in 1975 or thereabout and you remained a very influential part of my growth as a person, a father and God's servant until you transitioned to glory. You always brought calm to every storm through prayers and wise counsel. You were a rare gem and everything about you was just admirable.

Every phone call with you was more prayer and less talking. I thank God for bringing you into our family and most especially into my sister's life. I thank God for all the beautiful memories you created. I will miss hearing you play the Piano but you now have the best stage for that.

May God Almighty comfort and grant the entire family you left behind the kind of peace that surpasses all human understanding in Jesus matchless' name. Continue to rest in the presence of your maker. Adieu!

The news of Mr. Ayodele Clement Ayegbusi’s passing into glory left us stunned, speechless and shocked beyond belief; for we had talked with Ayo most recently at Easter, and had a lovely exchange on each other’s family and well-being. Who would have imagined that the joyful chat would be the last we would have with him.

Ayo was a most devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. To my wife and I, he was simply believed brother Ayo, a very decent human being and a truly man of God.
He was blessed with an equally loving family: his wife Taiwo, and their children Sola, Anu, Tolu and Kunle (our God son).

We give thanks to God for Ayo’s blessed and wonderful life. No doubt, he will be greatly missed by us all and by the many whose lives he touched. Surely, his memory will remain a blessing as his gentle soul rests in perfect peace in the Lord.

Tribute to Daddy Aiyegbusi
Daddy your life was a blessing. I was shocked for your transition to glory because I recently saw you at the house hale and hearty. In your usual fatherly love, you prayed for my family and that of my spiritual twin sister that you groomed.

I remember the waiting period in my life. You stood in gap for us until God answered our prayers.

I understand that truly, it is from God we came and surely unto him we shall return and I know you are with the savior, you have fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith. A true soldier of God, passionate about the things of God. You will be greatly missed but not forgotten. We love you but God loves you more.

We would always remember... not that you died but that you lived and that your life gave all of us too many beautiful memories to forget.

Rest on at the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ till we meet at the resurrection mornin

Rest on Daddy....

Hmnnnn! My own beloved Boda Ayo has gone to rest!. This is another serious bang in our family. We were in a very intimate discussion with him, reviewing a lot issues of interest a few days before this his departure to glory. He is a great man indeed. His love and care has always been a source of inspiration to us since our childhood. His departure means a lot to us in the immediate and extended family as well as community. We trust God for grace and fortitude in times like this. We will keep glorifying God for the testimony that his life and times have recorded. He never fails to cheer up wherever or whenever we meet especially in the course of ministrations in the Redemption Camp where we met most frequently. Now, we only look forward to meeting on resurrection morn. Good night, boda! Good night Pastor Ayo Aiyegbusi.

Daddy is as gentle and soft spoken as they came. We thank God for a life that bore eloquent testimony of God's Grace and his Goodness. I recall during his 70th birthday celebration, the effusive plaudits around his generosity and him being a stickler for all things being done decently and in order. Or watching him on TV during a few Holy Ghost Service music ministrations. Above all, the greatest comfort is knowing that with a shadow of a doubt, he's chilling with a good good Father, in whom there is no shadow of turning. We'll miss you sir. Bemigho & Ire

Daddy, you have indeed completed the great assignment. Your humility was simply exceptional. You served till the very end, even in the week that you left,  you were still part of the National Choir, even at your age!
You impacted lives so innumerable, mine inclusive. I will never forget your statement when you saw me on the camp ground years ago, you exclaimed “Praise God, I should have changed my prayer point, given that God has granted the initial request” You opened your diary for me to see my name and a host of others as listed against their respective prayer points. Your joy knew no bounds that very day. Testimonies too many to share here really. Daddy, I have no doubt you are sleeping in the Lord and resting with the saints. May God Almighty continue to minister to mummy, all your children (biological and spiritual) and the entire RCCG family. May we all meet at the resurrection morning. Rest on Dad.....
