Olayinka transitioned on 25th October 2013 in a tragic accident on the way to bury my nan.

He's missed beyond words by his wife Julie Rotimi - Akande, three sons Daniel, Jordan and Aaron Akande, his elderely mother Mrs K Akande (father passed in August 2010), brothers Mr V Akande and Mr A Akande. He's also missed terribly by cousins, uncles, aunts nieces, nephews, in laws and tons of friends.

He was laid to rest on 01 November 2013 at Ikoyi Cemetry, Lagos Nigeria.
