My condolences to Auntie Tolu, Ejiro , my long time friend Lola and the entire family on the passage to glory of a good man... Uncle Clem. His death was rather sudden and shocking.
I got to know him and his lovely wife over 30 years ago when we were living on the same street at Surulere, Lagos. He was such an unassuming , easy going and soft spoken man who was very deep in wisdom.
He loved his family to a fault and extended that love to whoever their friends and associates are. I had the honour of sharing some wonderful moments with him and his family on their visit to Edmonton AB .Those memories will I cherish forever.
A very very good man is gone and heaven has gained a saint. May God comfort Auntie Tolu , grant her good health and may she live long to reap the fruits of her labour .May the soul of the departed Rest In Peace. Adieu Uncle Clem , you will be sorely missed. Gbolahan Bello

It's with great sadness of heart that I received the news of your death. The first and last time that I had the opportunity of meeting you was when you came to pick your wife ; my classmates during one of our old students meeting. You were a loving and caring husband to her, i pray that God will grant her and the entire family the fortitude to bear the loss of your death. Keep resting in the bosom of the Lord till we meet to part no more.

Dear Uncle, the news of your demise hit me so hard because it brought back memories of how we talked, ate and drank during the Christmas and new year and also memories of all the times we spent together these years. You showed me fatherly love and care all these years. Words fail me to say how much you'll be missed but we trust that you are resting in the bosom of our Lord and our comfort is that someday we'll all reunite together in heaven. Till then, keep resting.

Dear Sister Tolu and Ejiro,

Our thoughts, heart and prayers are with you at this time. Our continuing prayer is that the Lord will deeply comfort and strengthen you, and protect and sustain you. May His everlasting arms of love bear you up and keep you in Jesus name.

Brother Clement was a wonderful man. A gentle giant , generous, kind , loving and very accommodating. He was a real family man and an a godly example. I remember meeting him for the first time over 30 years ago when he came with sister Tolu to visit Lola in Ado Ekiti. We all remember thinking Wow! what an amazing man God had given Sister Tolu as a husband. He will always as the years went by be at our family events to support us. When my dad died and was being buried in November 2020 he was there again supporting us. I didn't realise that when I saw him then I will be seeing him for the last time. It is so painful that Bro Clement has gone and we will surely miss him.

In all we thank God for Bro Clement's life and thank God that even though now absent in the body, we believe he is now present with the Lord where there is no more pain, tears or sighing.

With love

My name is Ejiroghene Akpomedaye and I am the only daughter of Clement Onoriode Akpomedaye. My father was a loving and generous man that never had anything bad to say about anyone, even the ones that hurt him. He was a very relaxed person who was very protective of me and my mother. While he was not a perfect human being, I thank God every day for the person that my father was, for giving me a father like him. I have learned so much from my father and while I am devastated that he is no longer here physically with me and my mother, I rest in the Lord because he is in a better place and he is free and at peace. I trust the Lord to continue to sustain us in his absence. I love you Daddy and rest easy in the Father's Presence.

My Tribute/ Eulogy

Shared by Adedayo Ajisafe on February 10, 2021
It’s not an easy task writing the eulogy of ones junior brother. Clement is a junior brother who should be one of the people to write during my own funeral but alas fate had made role to be exchanged. Bishop P D Adekunle adopted us into the respectable family as sons on getting married to his daughter, so Clement is my aburo. Clement through out his life time was caring, loving and very respective. Always saying how are you Broda. I will miss your gentle mean and disposition. May God keep and protect your loved ones you flew away living behind. You are now in a better place
