Dad Ejiro! Dad Ejiro!!! Adieu!!!
Hmmm.. Uncle Clement Akpomedaye that I knew was a complete symbol of love without boundary, he was a generous family man, accomodating but not tolerant to indiscipline, he was a successful man and lover of God's work despite his busyness.
His life is a lesson to all Christians to be faithful. Praise God, he has come, saw and conquered death and this dying world through his best friend and Savior Jesus Christ.

Dad Ejiro, rest on till we meet to part no more.

*Goodnight Brother Akpomedaiye!*

Bro Akpomedaiye, was humble, benevolent, benign, amiable and peaceful. He always had a word of encouragement for any one facing challenging times. He loved God and served in His vineyard passionalely and meritoriouly. He was the Grand Patron of The Word Bible Church Choir.

Words are grossly inadequate to describe how much The Word Bible Church Choir will miss you.

We are however consoled that we shall meet at Jesus' feet.

Adieu Bro Akpomedaiye. Rest on in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Uncle Clem, the news of your death was a rude shock to me. You were a man of peace, love and an epitome of family harmony. I remember your desire that my children and Ejiro should spend holidays together so that they can bond. The line of tribal difference was never drawn by you as you mixed and blended well among us, your Yoruba in-laws.
May God grant Tolu, Ejiro, and the family at large the fortitude to bear the loss.
Adieu Uncle Clem till the resurrection morning - Moyinoluwa Donald Ajisafe

Bro Clemo, you left this sinful world without notice.

You were a great man of high native and spiritual intelligence. Your soft mien, deep understanding of the word of God, intellectual discourse on global matters were impeccable. In addition to all these you were honest and unworldly, all these characteristics of yours we shall all miss. We were actually looking forward to receiving you at our final installation later this year but God knows best. Adieu our brother and rest in peace.

You can no longer seen, by the human eye,
But your soul and love that you gave to many, will never ever die
Sometimes I wish I could tell myself that you'll be back someday.
If I could make just one wish right now, I'd wish you back to stay
I guess this is the way life goes, and God's will we must accept
Rest in bosom of the most high. We love you but God loves you more.

My condolences to Auntie Tolu, Ejiro , my long time friend Lola and the entire family on the passage to glory of a good man... Uncle Clem. His death was rather sudden and shocking.
I got to know him and his lovely wife over 30 years ago when we were living on the same street at Surulere, Lagos. He was such an unassuming , easy going and soft spoken man who was very deep in wisdom.
He loved his family to a fault and extended that love to whoever their friends and associates are. I had the honour of sharing some wonderful moments with him and his family on their visit to Edmonton AB .Those memories will I cherish forever.
A very very good man is gone and heaven has gained a saint. May God comfort Auntie Tolu , grant her good health and may she live long to reap the fruits of her labour .May the soul of the departed Rest In Peace. Adieu Uncle Clem , you will be sorely missed. Gbolahan Bello

Dear Sister Tolu and Ejiro,

Our thoughts, heart and prayers are with you at this time. Our continuing prayer is that the Lord will deeply comfort and strengthen you, and protect and sustain you. May His everlasting arms of love bear you up and keep you in Jesus name.

Brother Clement was a wonderful man. A gentle giant , generous, kind , loving and very accommodating. He was a real family man and an a godly example. I remember meeting him for the first time over 30 years ago when he came with sister Tolu to visit Lola in Ado Ekiti. We all remember thinking Wow! what an amazing man God had given Sister Tolu as a husband. He will always as the years went by be at our family events to support us. When my dad died and was being buried in November 2020 he was there again supporting us. I didn't realise that when I saw him then I will be seeing him for the last time. It is so painful that Bro Clement has gone and we will surely miss him.

In all we thank God for Bro Clement's life and thank God that even though now absent in the body, we believe he is now present with the Lord where there is no more pain, tears or sighing.

With love

My name is Ejiroghene Akpomedaye and I am the only daughter of Clement Onoriode Akpomedaye. My father was a loving and generous man that never had anything bad to say about anyone, even the ones that hurt him. He was a very relaxed person who was very protective of me and my mother. While he was not a perfect human being, I thank God every day for the person that my father was, for giving me a father like him. I have learned so much from my father and while I am devastated that he is no longer here physically with me and my mother, I rest in the Lord because he is in a better place and he is free and at peace. I trust the Lord to continue to sustain us in his absence. I love you Daddy and rest easy in the Father's Presence.
