Mrs. Gordon was born, Wednesday, September 9, 1936, in LaGrange, the daughter of the late Pearl Ruth Baxter and Joseph Hershel Bennett. She retired from Mead Packaging in Atlanta, Georgia after 25 years. Mrs. Gordon was a member of the Rock Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Gordon.

Survivors include her blessed daughter, Teresa (Bill) Puckett of Sharpsburg, Georgia; her grandchildren, Matthew Puckett of Senoia, Georgia and Brittany Puckett of Books, Georgia.
