My favorite times with Cleta were sharing stories over soup, salad, and bread sticks. She was as beautiful as the vibrant colors she always wore.
This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Cleta Lee, 98 years old, born on May 7, 1916, and passed away on June 26, 2014. We will remember her forever.

Cleta took me under her wing when I was 17. What a blessing she was in my life! She showed her love and beliefs in her actions. I'm forever grateful for her.

I used to go every week to Aunt Cleta's house on jennings ave and clean for her for 25 cents an hour, I was probably about 12 years old then,I also took piano lesson's there from her husband Joe Lee and that is also the place I remember my Grandpa and her dad David Oscar Brooks. My dad her brother has been gone from us a while now but I always knew for some reason she was going to hit or come close to that 100 mark,she had so much in life to offer and as I remember she was always a little different from other people in my life and you just knew she was a go getter a fighter and was going to have a long life.

Something my grandmother would always say to me was, "Our darling Michelle. She's as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside." That always made me feel special and helped me to know that real beauty comes from within.
