I’m so grateful to Cleve for all his trips to the Discovery Shop. What a service he provided. And my husband Ron enjoyed many lunch dates with Cleve, Stu Fine, and Ron Roach. Cleve was the Best of the Best.

Cleve had a warm and gentle countenance that made every meeting a pleasure. He radiated good humor. Our condolences to his family.

For us he was first the anonymous guy who came with the truck to help move our furniture to the Discovery Shop as we down-sized to move to Stoneridge Creek.  At Stoneridge Creek we shared tales of travel with Cleve and Pat over many dinners.  We miss him.

Cleve, I miss you.
I enjoyed our conversations, our stories.

I came to know Cleve through my friend Pat.  I think the Lord looked down and saw these two lovely, kind people and brought them together to enjoy the passing years. Whenever we met, I could rely on Cleve having a pleasant smile and cheerful word to say. May Cleve's family and friends be blessed and comforted by many happy memories.

When I think of Uncle Cleve so many warm and cherished memories come flooding back. He always had a smile and a kind word. He had a true servant’s heart, always looking out for others. Encouragement and hospitality were some of his many gifts and he shared them generously. As kids, we could always count on him for treats and adventure, especially at Lake Shasta! And when the next generation came around, he did it all over again! Those memories and Cleve’s kindness will be with us in our hearts forever.

We added a photo we took of Pat and Cleve during a Stoneridge Creek excursion of the USS Potomac with the Golden Gate Bridge behind them. We will miss Cleve, but will always remember his smile, kindness, and fun personality.

Uncle Cleve was one of the most kind individuals that I was lucky enough to know. There are some people that just have a constant twinkle in their eye. Mischief or kindness, often one in the same, the memories will live on forever. My childhood memories would not be the same without the Beck family. Kindness, patience, giving ... rest in peace Uncle Cleve. You will be deeply missed by all but the twinkle in your eyes will stay with us forever!

Cleve was a sweet and loving man. He was a wonderful grandfather to Max and Bridget. He always made me feel safe, welcomed and loved. He was perpetually the consummate host and after 36 years of knowing Cleve, I have definitely learned a thing or two from him. He always called me Kimmie. He came to my rescue many times when I needed it. I will forever think fondly back on the memories we shared. He was truly a beautiful person. He will be deeply missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with Cleve’s family. Cleve was a treasure. You knew him for a lifetime. I met him here at Stoneridge Creek and was lucky to enjoy his company for six years. He was a wonderful listener and had a lovely sense of humor. I liked to hear his stories about his family and he listened to mine. Since we had both already lived a long life we never lacked something to talk about. He had a special smile, beautiful blue eyes and a kind heart
