This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Clyde Southers, 69, born on January 15, 1945 and passed away on March 10, 2014. We will remember him forever. Clyde was a warm loving Father, Husband, Brother, and Friend to all that loved him.  He was born in Buena Vista, Virginia on January 15, 1945 to Edward Arthur and Margaret Mc Manama Southers.
   He has happily joined his beloved family: Father, Mother, & Four Brothers  Bobby, Billy, Jimmy, & Mack Southers.
    He is survived by his Wife Patricia Southers. Four Daughters, Emily Bailey, Katie Auldridge, Dawn & Debbie Southers. Three Sons, Clyde Southers Jr, George Lopez, & Brenton Southers. Three Sisters, Dorothy Ramsey, Penny Fix, & Patricia Latsha. Nine Grandchildren, Alyssa Holtzclaw, Scarlett Cabiad,Jason Cabiad, Terri Bryan, Tabatha Bryan, Shane Brantley, Shannon Walker,Janie Tunner, & Hunter Southers. Who will all miss him dearly.
    He served in the U.S. Army where he went to Germany for two years. He then moved to Killeen Texas in 1977 to join his sister and brother in law. His brother in -law wanted him to stay so he introduced him to Gary McLean owner of McLean Construction. The two were the best of buddies and played and worked together. The Company became a second family to Clyde. He was a dedicated employee throughout his entire life. It was his love.
    Clyde was an Avid Hunter and Fisherman. He was a caring and loving person, the kind who would give you the shirt off his back. He will be remembered for his BIG heart and generosity.
    A Memorial in honor of his life will be held on Saturday, March 15th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Baptist Church, in Killeen Texas.
