It doesn't seem that he's been gone three years. We'll never fully realize the many lives Coach Hardy influenced. He was a perfect example of what a man should be. We'll never forget you, Coach Hardy

Just as, Jeremiah 31:3 states, "I have loved you with an everlasting love." Coach Hardy & his family will never be forgotten. I will always remember him as a great teacher & good parishioner, when I was a member at St. John Baptist Church. I've always loved his wife,as a mother.

It is evident that Coach Hardy touched so many lives. To his family and all those who knew him, I would like to offer my sympathy. Our family will continue to pray that you allow God to comfort you as you mourn. Remember God has promised that death will soon be gone and we will welcome our loved ones back by means of the resurrection. (Rev. 21:3, 4 & Acts 24:15) May you be comforted always

I am very honored to have been coached and educated by such a great man as Coach Hardy. Today I believe that I stand a little taller, believe a little deeper, and try and treat people fairly because of the impact that this man had on my life and the lives of my brothers, sisters, and entire family.Rest in Peace,Sir. I remember seeing Coach Hardy after graduation and asking him if I could call him by his first name now that I was "grown". He said sure you can.... I said what is your first name and he said "Coach"... Brooks you will never be that grown... laughed and walked off. I still to this day remember what he told us in class... "No one (except God) is more important you than you are---

Coach Hardy played a very important part in the lives of so many of us at Lanier High School. His memory will forever live in our hearts for those things we learned from his teachings.. He was truly a role model that we went on to emulate the values he instilled. Thank you Coach Hardy for passing this way. Marie Huguley Evans Class of 1967

Heroes in history seem to us poetic because they are there. But if we should tell the simple truth of some of our neighbors, it would sound like poetry. Curtis. If the students of Lanier High told the truth about Coach’s impact on our lives; it would translate as: caring, giving, helping. Mrs Hardy, Tony thanks for sharing “Coach” with us. Coach Hardy was like a father to my husband and I. Over the years he has shared his knowledge of life and his love of God with us. To know him was to love him. He was a man that you could rely on and trust. We are truly blessed to have had such a person be a part of both our spiritual family and our adopted family( as he called us). He will truly be missed. R.I.P.- We love you- The Wards
