Cody Bryan Ripple LUBBOCK - Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of our beloved Cody Ripple, 24, of Lubbock at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2013, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Cody died June 5, 2013. He was born on Jan. 24, 1989 in Lubbock. He was attending South Plains College where he was on the Dean's List. He worked for Shearers Food, Inc. He enjoyed volunteering at the Humane Society and was an avid reader. He also loved to write, and in his writings you could see the depth and beauty of his heart, mind and soul. His maternal grandfather, Tommy Dunlap, preceded him in death. Cody is survived by his mother, Julie Dunlap of Lubbock; his father, Curtis Ripple of Wylie; two brothers, Dustin Sadler and wife Amanda and Chris Sadler, all of Lubbock, and a sister, Micki Zambrano of Plainview; two nieces, Maddison and Sloane Sadler of Lubbock; maternal grandmother, Peggy Leatherwood of Lubbock; paternal grandmother, Peggy Denison and husband Tiny of Clovis, NM, and paternal grandfather, Curtis Ripple of Escondido, CA.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
