I did not meet this great man of character and honour but from interactions and ideas we shared together in a forum moderated by him, i am more than convinced that he was a man of great honour and passion for his people. Until his passing i could not really fathom how i got subcribbed to that great family of his but when i enquired as an incquisite mind, he reminded me of my root and asked if i am in doubt of it. Shy and excited as i was it was a defining moment in my life because it gave me a sense of belonging and an identity i was proud of. Though we never meet i was glad he found me worthy to be part of his family and i looked up to him as a father because of the many similarities with my biological father who himself has gone to the lands beyound since the year 2001.
