Colby J. Love was born August 7, 2004 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. He went to East Lee County High School 10th grade. He was a resident of Lehigh Acres, Florida. He loved his mom, step dad(s) and all of his siblings.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jonathan Ray Otto, great grandmother Linda Medeiros and his great grandfather, Eugene Love.

He is survived by his mother Jessica Carroll, step dad(s) Kris Carroll and Jason Warner, half-siblings Zach Otto, Trevor Otto, Faith Warner, Leland Warner, Bella Tremblay and Serenity Santiago. His step siblings, Destiny, Trinidy, Kris Jr., Kacey, Morgan and Madison. His great grandmother Sandra Love. His grand mother(s) Heidi Houle and Millie-Jean Glanville and his grandfather James Love.

Service will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 at W.E. Lusain Funeral Home and Crematory (2060 Germantown Street/Dayton, OH 45417). Visitation will begin at 12:00pm and service to follow at 1:00pm.

I remember when your mom and dad brought you over for the first time and I got to hold my beautiful nephew. You were so tiny and cute! When I was 15 I got to spend time with you and your mom and dad in Florida. I had so much fun playing with you and getting to know you. I’m so sorry I didn’t keep in touch when I came home. You turned into such an amazing, kind, handsome young man and I’m sad I didn’t get to witness it. You will be forever loved and never forgotten ♥️

I remember always having some of my birthday party's with you since our birthdays were so close. Playing with you when were little. Your light will be sorely missed in this world. With every life you touched. It was a blessing to be your uncle.

I had the privilege of teaching Colby in 7th and 8th grade science. He was an incredibly intelligent young man and was hilarious, sometimes when he wasn't supposed to be. He will be missed by staff and students that got to know him at Riverside. My family and I are so sorry for your loss, and his family and friends are in my prayers.
