His Life

Cole's personal journey, etc.

October 22, 2014

Cole was very shy when he was young but as he got older he was less so. He wanted to be a gunsmith which was natural since he was passionate about guns. He had a photographic memory about his interests. It amazed his dad and I when we would talk with him about those interests. He was left handed like his big brother. He wanted to grow his hair long enough to give it to Locks of Love. I wish he would have accomplished this goal as he had the most beautiful soft curls. Cole suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2010 that should/could have ended his life. I wonder now if God was preparing us for the event that took his life.

He was a good baby with very few tantrums as a toddler. I used to call Cole an old soul when he was four. He would say things that made me think that though I couldn't recall any now.

His music interests varied greatly. Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, The Doors and Jimmie Hendrix as well as other newer and different kinds.

He could be very spontaneous but didn't like a change in his schedule without several days notice.

Places Cole visited

October 22, 2014

Cole traveled to 16 states.

He saw the Hoover Dam, The Grand Canyon, Las Vegas strip, Disneyworld, ocean, The Country Music Hall of Fame, Jack Daniel's Distillery and numerous other places while traveling to see his big brother play baseball.

Our heart our soul, our son our Cole

October 18, 2014

Cole was born on February 15, 1993, a snowy Monday morning, President's Day. He was the president of his dad and I's world.

He was an only child, son, nephew and brother. He was the last male on his dad's side to carry on the Campbell name. Cole loved God, his family and his country. He was a true patriot. Cole had a good, kind sensitive soul.
