Connell Junuies was born to Sadie Mae Junuies and Bobby Lee Junuies on August 8, 1956.

He was educated in the Birmingham School System where he attended Washington Elementary School and Parker High School. Upon his completion of high school, he joined the US Navy. While serving in the Navy, he received the National Defense Service Medal. He was employed with the Veterans Hospital and Commons at UAB until his health started to decline. He never met a stranger and would go out of his way to help any and everyone. He truly had a heart of gold. He was loved by so many and he will truly be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sadie and Bobby Junuies and his brothers: Kent Curtis Junuies and Joenathan Junuies. He leaves to cherish his loving memories two brothers: Arthur (Sandra) Sims in Birmingham, Alabama and Rolanda Junuies in Birmingham, Alabama, two sisters: Bobbi (Orlin) Lee in Birmingham, Alabama and Christine Junuies in Birmingham, Alabama. A host of nieces and nephews and family and friends. Also, his extended family at the Veterans Hospital and 6th floor Safe Harbor. As well as his special friends Stacy Burts and Vincent Nance.

We the family of Connell Junuies wish to express our profound gratitude and sincere appreciation for the many expression of kindness.
