Constance Elaine nee Blodgett Miller's Obituary

Constance "Connie" Elaine Miller (80) of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away on August 8, 2020, due to long term health problems. She was born on September 22, 1939 in Dunkirk, New York to Edison Rolland Blodgett and Doris Ellen nee Robinson. She was one of 4 children: Catherine L. (half-paternal sister), Sondra Louise and Rolland Harry Blodgett, all of Fredonia, New York.
Connie graduated from Fredonia (NY) High School in June 1956. She was a shining star intellectually and socially, participating as a class advisor and successful participation in numerous school clubs: Tennyson (literary), Drama, Chess, Cheer and Debate. While working at the Gowanda State Hospital (Helmuth, NY), she received SUNY college credits in psychology and nearly completed her degree prior to relocation to Tampa, Florida in 1971. It was at that time that she met her husband of 48 years, Rush Miller (Tampa, Florida).
Her entire life was dedicated to helping all who came to her door with counseling sessions, free-of-charge. In addition, she was incredibly talented in all the arts (music, crafts, etcetera) with her creativity and natural abilities. The following is a quote that sums up the embodiment her life:

Surviving family members are her husband, Rush Miller; children: Patricia Gaylord Kaspi, Valerie (Tim) Bennett and Michael Gaylord (Gowanda, NY); finally, many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
