Tribute to a lady full of grace: Constance Osondu.
I woke up to the shocking news of the demise of Constance from her sister , Carol a few days ago. Even though I knew she was fighting the battle of her life in the months preceding her demise, the courage and faith she showed in God throughout this period infected me. This is why I believe that in spite of her death, she lives on. And because she believed, she lives on.
Throughout the nearly 25 years that I knew her, she was as constant as her carefully chosen name. She was diligent at work, loyal to friends, caring to family and faithful to her creator. She never allowed the challenges of life rob her of her smile which masked the enormity of some of these challenges. She simply soldiered on till the end.
I know she has gone to a better place and on behalf of my wife and entire family that she showed such hospitality, I say farewell to the ever constant Constance. I have absolutely no regrets knowing you and the Angels will receive you into our Lord’s Kingdom.
