I miss the magic in your blue eyes. Looking into them when you gave me advice, when you told me you loved me, when you scolded me. Those eyes were so wonderful and what I would give to look into them once again. I love you and miss you terrible. I remember the good times and this ache in my heart will never go away until we are together again.

Your music

March 29, 2019

I remember as a child hearing the grand ole music coming from your room at night, you and Dad listened to.  Then when we moved away you played your music all the days you could.  As time went on and I of course grew older it was never a surprise to pull up to your house no matter where you lived and hear Pop, oldies, Broadway and many genres of music blasting from your front door.  I played all your favorite songs the night before you left this earth, although you could not talk I bent over and asked if you wanted it quiet, if you wanted me to stop the music, the last thing I ever heard from your lips was that last whisper ....no. So I played your heavenly songs until morning when I saw you were deep asleep.  I seem to picking up that habit myself as I grow older.  Thank you Mom for introducing me to music.
