Mr. Corinth Isaac Ferguson, SFC Retired of Columbus passed Thursday at his home. He was 70 years of age and resided at 3139 Huntwood Drive.

The son of the late Ms. Emma Boston, Mr. Ferguson was born in Daytona Beach, FL September 3, 1943. He was a member of New Testament Community Center Church where he served faithfully with Gideon’s Army Ministry. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of 22 years, and was also retired from the Muscogee County School System, having served at Rothschild Middle School and Kendrick High School as a custodian. Mr. Ferguson had also worked at KFC on Milgen Road for many years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 267.

Surviving his departure with cherished memories, include: his loving and devoted companion of 16 years, Tomika Stephen; five sons, Abraham “Deon” Ferguson (Latamra); Rodrick P. Stephens, Reuben Stephen, LaDoin Gosha and Demetris Watkins; three grandchildren, Daphny, Mishka and Najia; two great grandchildren, Jazzavion and Marilyn; a host of other loving relatives and friends.
