I just heard about Craig's passing yesterday and a stroke of sadness hit my heart. I was Craig's assistant for awhile at AI&I (84-86) and considered him one of the most gentle, kind, respectful man I had ever met. Working with Craig was always a pleasure! I left AI&I to get married and moved to Las Vegas. I'm sure he was a great missionary there (still is); was always a great example!

I remember Craig fondly at Kelly and James wedding. He was so gracious and accepting of our daughter. The toast he gave was funny, insightful and given with such warmth and genuine affection for the couple. He will be missed.

Annette and family,
I was saddened by the news of Craig's passing. As I currently serve as a District Executive for the Boy Scouts, I particularly like the photo of Craig and Annette on either side of their son (I am guessing an Eagle court of honor?) Craig was always so nice to me, he will be missed.

Craig was the missionary that taught us the gospel, here in Laconia, New Hampshire back in 1965. We joined and have been active ever since. We have kept in touch over the years and he even came to our farewell party as we were going on a mission in 2000 and again when we served in 2003. What a great servant of the Lord he is.

We visited Craig many times right out in the street between our homes in our little Lakeside neighborhood.Craig could often be found tinkering in his BEAUTIFUL garage. This peaceful, GOOD MAN was was so prepared when he was "called to serve". I love that he had a special art room built for Annette. We will miss our street-visits, and we'll watch over your sweetheart while you wait for her!

Dear Annette and Family,
We are so sorry to learn of the passing of Craig. We know how much you and he are loved by our brother Jerry and his wife, Debbie. They will greatly miss your service in the mission field. We extend our love and sympathy at this time and know that our loving Heavenly Father will comfort you until you are together again.

When Craig came to our Church, the Saratoga Springs Fifth Ward, I was immediatly impressed with him. I asked him about his Scouting background and he proceeded to tell me. I asked him if he would do a Scouting resume and send it back to me. I sent him the template for a resume but before he could finish it, he went on a mission to California. He has returned. but as a guardian angel.

I remember one winter when we were hunting for Christmas trees Craig brought a hand gun. He taught those of us who weren't use to it how to hold it and how to aim. We had a lot of fun learning how to shoot. I remember laughing about this bringing a whole new meaning to "Christmas tree hunting". Mostly I remember his warm welcoming smile & hug, and his sincere "how are you?" He meant it.

I Remember the first time I saw him mowing the lawn with his old push by hand mower, I was amazed at what a hard worker he always has been. One of the kindest men I know. I remember always wanting to ride in the bus!! He Made you feel important and always a good listener. I wish I could be there now, I am grateful to have grown up in a family that spent time together. love you all.

A few great memories of Criag, 1 that stands out is when he took me fishing, I was only about 6, and he told me if I put the worms in my mouth to warm them up we would catch more fish. I remember camping trips in their VW bus, he had fixed it up with a bed that folded out the back and he had made a canvas tent that he snapped around it. I love you Craig! You will not be forgotten

Craig and I became bros-in-law in 1982. Over the last 30 years we have shared many a Cox reunion and other family gatherings. We visited frequently about our families, running routines, and business. When I think of Craig, these words come to mind: quiet, humble, earnest, disciplined, devoted, honest, Priesthood man, example. I have always looked up to you brother!! See you soon!

We were on a family trip. I was a teenager. It was cold and I was wearing Annette's jacket. Craig snuck behind me and put his arm around me thinking it was his wife. I don't think I've ever seen him so embarrassed. He let Annette know she was never to do that again. Craig was a great example for all the men in our family. He was the strong silent type. We have a lot to live up to.
