Crystal Renee Lambert McCradic, 45, of Hubbard and formerly of College Station, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on June 19, 2017.  Born in Houston on December 7, 1971, she died in Waco from complication of pancreatitis.  Crystal was met in heaven by her grandparents who went before her, Charles C. and Dorothy J. Cannon of Houston and Joseph C. and Audria V. Lambert of Alabama.  We are pretty sure her grandmothers knocked Jesus out of the way in their haste to come get their first, and somewhat spoiled, grand-baby!

Crystal leaves behind a loving husband of 22 years, Michael I. McCradic, and four children, Quint'a, Catrina, Devin, and Shawn.  She is also survived by parents and step-parents, Jerry and Dorothy Lambert of Iola, and Michael and Carlene Autrey of Hubbard, as well as mother-in-law, Rosalie J. Jennings of Green Bay, Wisconsin.  Crystal will be greatly missed by extended family and a lifetime of friends.

Crystal spent her life in restaurant management and customer service, where her greatest satisfaction was found in lifting others up.  She met everyone with bright smiles, endearments, and positive affirmations, genuinely happy to help and encourage others.  Crystal actively loved and accepted people of all faiths, colors, and lifestyles, but had a special heart for those hurting or in need. Crystal had an adoration for the intricate wonders of nature and she never lost her inner child, who was a bit like Agnes Gru from the Minions movies--including her love of unicorns and rainbows!

Friends are welcome to join Crystal’s family in a Celebration of Life Service and Balloon Release on June 30, 2017 at 3:00 pm.  The service will be held at First Baptist Church of Hubbard, by Pastor Ricky Woodall.  Casual attire, please.  Family and friends are encouraged to think of a memory of Crystal, to write down on cards which will be provided at service and given to Crystal’s children.  (Those who cannot attend but would like to share a memory can contact a family member to have a memory card mailed.)

I remember first meeting you, way back in 2006. You always had a way of making everyone around smile. I'm glad you are no longer suffering. It just doesn't seem real that you're gone. You gave the world so much in such a short time. Until we meet again, I'll see you again one day friend.

She was a beautiful spirit, kind, loving and understanding. She was a friend in the truest since of the word. To say I love you could not begin to explain how I feel. You were there for me in a time in life that I had no one. I will miss you more than anything.

I won't say goodbye, but I will say 'See ya later.' My big sister, my friend...I've cried until I couldn't breathe, I've laughed at our silly memories...I miss your texts and calls already. Rest easy in the beautiful afterlife. I know we will be with you again, pain free and in the arms of Jesus. I love you and will talk to you later. xoxo
PS. You can run!

Love and prayers for you all.
