"To the family:
“There is an appointed time for everything, A time for every activity under the heavens: A time for birth and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what was planted; A time to kill and a time to heal; A time to tear down and a time to build up; A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to wail and a time to dance; A time to throw stones away and a time to gather stones together; A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to search and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep and a time to throw away; A time to rip apart and a time to sew together; A time to be silent and a time to speak A time to love and a time to hate; A time for war and a time for peace.”
Losing a loved one often throws us into a gamut of emotions as described by the inspired writer of Ecclesiates. May more times of "healing", "laughing", "dancing", and "loving" overtake their counterparts of “weeping” and “wailing” with each passing year; and may cherished memories keep him forever alive in your hearts.
One day very soon, you will experience a time of perfect happiness and everlasting peace as you welcome back Mr. Curlie to life. ..... "When he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Lazʹa·rus, come out!” The man who had been dead came out…...John 11: 43, 44"
"Happy Birthday Curlie. You are missed. As I am typing this, I am remembering the times down in Los Angeles when I was there with you, celebrating your birthday. Would you please give a first hand "hello" to everyone for me if you can. I try to stay in a touch with each one. Hopefully they all know that. But it's not the same. Thank you. And once again Happy Birthday. God's Will be done. Penny-Woosa"
"To the Parham's family...this is your cousin Dorothy from Illinois. Letting you know that you are in my thoughts & prayers during this time of bereavement. may God give you peace. From the Parhams/Foster families...."
"Aunt Polly, Nita, Jackie, and Maurice I know you miss Uncle Curlie; however, you have many lovely memories to help you smile and fill the void. Continue to celebrate the life you shared. I know that I will always remember the years at the "big house" on Hwy 82, the vacations in California and the reunions at your current home. Thanks for memories and the love."
"Death is rarely welcomed even when a loved one has lived many years. We look forward to God's promise of restoring the earth to paradise, where sickness and death will be a thing of the past. (Isaiah 33: 24 & Revelation 21:3 & 4) In the meantime may you cherish the memories of what the Bible calls a life of special mightiness. (Psalms 90:10), and may your loved one remain alive in your heart until God's promises are fulfilled. I am deeply sorry for your loss. "
"To: Tur', Nita, Jackie, Maurice and Tiffany - I pray that God will give each of you the strength that you need during this time and all the days ahead so that you may continue to live healthy, productive lives.
I believe that God sends to us people that we need. He removes from us those that he wants, and at the same time those that we no longer need. Curlie served his time with all of us here. Now it'S God's time.
Sometimes these people are removed in death and sometimes in life. But God does not make mistakes. I personally am glad for the time that I shared with Curlie. Now, God's Will be done. Amen
Be strong and thrive - in Jesus name. Amen
Always: Woosa, Wink, Penny"
