His Life
November 27, 2013

Curtis Addie began his life on May 20, 1966 in the Lone Oak Community the son of Ollie M. Hines and the late Robert Hill.

During his teen years and early adult life, he was an active and faithful member of the Lone Oak Softball Team.  He truly excelled as an outstanding in fielder at the positions of shortstop and third base. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He was always the first to uplift any social event and family gathering with his jokes and dancing.

He departed this life on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at LaGrange Hospice.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Calvin and Mildred Addie, Grant and Amelia Hill; a loving sister, Larue Addie Dean; and a stepfather, Norman Hines.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving mother, Ollie Mae Hines; two sisters, Gwen (Kennis) Colton, Evelyn Addie (Dale Hart); two brothers, William (Gaynell) Martin and LaLa Hill; one brother-in-law, Johnny Dean, Sr.; two uncles, Henry Addie and Rev. Roger Hill; four aunts, Virginia, Mabel and Katie Addie and Mary L. Hill; two special friends, Stacy Addie and Anthony Terrell; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A very special thank you to my caregivers, my sister Evelyn Addie, my niece Shaketha Addie; Tomika Johnson with Caremaster Healthcare and LaGrange Hospice.
