His Life
September 24, 2015

Mr. Hendricks was born in Heard County Georgia on November 28, 1932, the son of the late Gladys Yarbrough Hendricks and Dewey C Hendricks. He was a member of the Ridgeway Baptist Church, and retired from Wehadkee Mill in Rock Mills, Alabama. He enjoyed playing Rook, and loved watching Braves Baseball. Pecan season was a favorite time of year, when he could pick up and sale the luscious nuts! Even though he had no children of his own he dearly loved his second wife’s children and grandchildren. He was especially supportive of his wife and gave her much love and encouragement during their time together. Mr. Curtis was a fun-loving man who enjoyed life. His wonderful sense of humor made him a joy to be around. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Agatha Teal Janney Hendricks; daughter, Wanda Richardson (Clymis); two sons, Lynn Janney (Kelly), Jonathan Janney (Denise); eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Hendricks.
