Mr. Curtis Wilbur Phillips, 79, of the Gray Hill Community, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013, at Florence Hand Home.

Mr. Phillips was born Thursday, May 3, 1934, in Troup County, Georgia, to the late Joe Lovelace Phillips and Ida Mae Waldroup Phillips.  He was a member of Bethel Methodist Church   He was retired from Skinner Furniture.   He was preceded in death by his brother, David Phillips.

He is survived by his wife, Mertis Jones Phillips, and his sons and their wives, Mike and Susan Phillips; Chuck and Deborah Phillips; all of West Point, his grandchildren and their spouses, Amy and Jeff Campione of Suwanee;  Shelley and Mike Neal of West Point, Gary and Brittany Phillips of Birmingham; Scott and Rindy Phillips of Americus; and Joey Phillips of Carrollton; his great-grandchildren, Hannah and Megan Campione of Suwanee; and Brayden, Clayton, and Kaylynn Neal of West Point.
