My Dearest Gran Gran

June 13, 2020
Just know I’ll always be your Daisha Boo Baby Girl and everyone else knows it too. Many like to claim that spot but....... it’s mine and has been since 1994 “and that’s a fact jack!!” Lol seriously though, I’ll miss you old man! You’re the best grandfather a girl could ever have or ask for

Daddy

June 13, 2020
I think it was around Christmas time, grandma picked us up for church, today was my big solo. I had to be about 11 or 12 my memory is a little cloudy (CRS). Anywho it’s time to sing and Ebonie and I take our places, the music starts and my heart starts beating faster than a race car. I look out in the crowd to find comfort and there he was, Daddy was there to hear us sing. He was fresh and clean from head to toe looking like Shaft with his shades on. My heart calmed and I started singing Silent Night. I recall since my nerves were good, I thought I put my heart into it and show my vocal ability just a little. I hit this high note and I saw my dad pull his shades down on the tip of his nose and give me this look as to say “ ok babygirl”. It feels like yesterday I was standing in that church looking at my dad, and now I won’t be able to see him again. Daddy was One of a kind, he always had jokes and everyone loved him. I loved him very much and every time I spoke with him I would let him know... just never thought that would be my last time We will miss you daddy and that’s a fact jack!

My Friend Mr.C

June 12, 2020
When I think of my friend Mr. C. I smile. He was a genuine friend and always ready to help someone out. I didn't know him when he was younger but the wisdom he shared was always on point. He seriously thought about his relationship with his creator. And we had many talks about how he knew Jehovah God had made his life possible. He had deep thoughts about his relationship with  God. I look forward to seeing him in the future resurrection that Jesus promised at John 5:28,29 in the Bible. Then my friend will be restored to perfect life. I will miss my friend until then.

Curtis will be missed. He was with my sister for so long I considered him my brother-in-law...he was also my shopping buddy...seems strange going to the stores without him.... Getting ice cream and souse meat...his favorite things to eat.....having you come over all the time ... Joking and teasing.... The kids will really miss you.... Having you come over for dinner and watching TV and looking for things to put together or fix .....we all enjoyed your company... Alexus, Terry, who are my kids, my cousin Geneva, and oldest Chris & his friends and me. You kept us all smiling and laughing... You are missed my friend ...... Still can't believe you are gone... What a shock..I thought it was a joke.... Of some sort. Then I realized it wasn't...you are missed by all of us.
