Butchie I remember when we first met at the age of 12. We were at your great grandmother’s house, my Aunt Flossie. Been close ever since. I had just talked to you a couple weeks and we were talking about us being here this long not expecting it. You will be truly missed because you could always lift spirits in the darkest of times. Love you always.

I was so hurt to call and find out my dad's buddy had passed. We would talk once a week. I thank you for calling me and letting my father leave a message on my phone. I still have those messages thanks to you. Thanks for being so nice to my father Dewitt C Todd Jr. AKA just to you DOLL

First and foremost i send condolences from my family to yours . My father DEWITT CHESTER TODD was also in the same nursing home with CURTIS which is located next to GRANDVIEW HOSPITAL. CURTIS called my father his buddy. He would check on my father daily . They were very good friends and both from a military bacvkground. Curtis always had a smile and kind words . I am so sorry for your loss. My father passed in 2017 . I will always remember CURTIS.

I'm going to miss you big cousin. Our weekly phone calls, laughs about life's daily challenges and just checking on each other at least twice a week. You brought so much joy and told hilarious stories and still tried to fool me on the phone every now and then.
I'm glad you were able to enjoy your music and blow everybody in the building out the box!
I know you were ready because your conversation for several months have been about being thankful for longevity you didn't expect to have.
God Bless your soul and " I'll see ya when I see ya In a minute"
Loves Ya

He was always so nice to me and called me baby girl and I always considered him family so I always called him my uncle Curtis or uncle C for short. You'll truly be missed and I will miss you hanging around my house to watch family feud with me.

Daddy, Daddy, Daddy!!! That was not a call I expected to receive. I know we had our banter, but you know I truly loved you. I'm still in disbelief. I was shooketh when I saw you, but you looked so peaceful & hansdsome. I expected you to say.... Aha gotcha sucka!!! My heart is heavy, but I know you're always with me.

Love you, Malinda AKA TEA
