Cynthia Jo Allinder Coe passed away at home in Helena, Alabama on
Thursday, August 8, 2019, after a long and hard fought battle with
breast cancer. Cindy was born on 10/10/56 to Jo Ann and Noel Allinder
who predeceased her along with her big brother, Michael Allinder. Her
survivors are her beloved husband, Dean Coe, and her son, Phillip
Thomas Coe whom she adored with her whole heart. She is also survived
by her sister, Marsha Allinder Graham, her sister-in-law, Carol Swann
Holt, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. She loved each and every
member of her family. Cindy graduated from Midfield High School in
1975. She worked as an Insurance Supervisor at Birmingham
Radiological Group for many years until ill health forced an early
retirement. Cindy loved her BRG co-workers and considered them all
dear friends. Cindy had many friends from Midfield. They kept up with
each other over the years and socialized, and had some really great
times together. She also enjoyed eating out whenever possible with a
close group of friends, and she always looked forward to those days
with great joy. Cindy was an amazing cook and a talented seamstress
and crafter. She gave us all great joy for many years with food,
handmade Easter baskets and Christmas stockings. In addition to those
talents, Cindy had a great servant's heart and loved to help people in
any way she could. She was funny and could make you laugh about
anything. She maintained her sense of humor and love of life despite
her illnesses, pain and suffering. She also loved Alabama football.
RTR!!! She loved her pets who brought her such comfort and happiness
over the years. We will miss and love her forever, but we will
treasure the memories and we will never forget her sweet smile and
beautiful blue eyes. Go with God, Cindy. We will see you again some
fine day and what a great day that will be.
