I had not seen Cindy in years but kept up with her on Facebook and through her loving sister, Marsha, with whom I have been friends since childhood. I knew Cindy as a fun-loving child, teenager and young woman. What I will remember most about her is how she made me smile and laugh every time I was around her. She truly brought joy everywhere she was.
My heart goes out to Marsha, Phillip and Dean and all her family and friends and those privileged to know her. What a spirit, what a life, what a joy! Cindy fought a long, courageous battle with cancer and diabetes. She remains an inspiration to us all. Go rest high on that mountain, Cindy, in His loving arms. You will forever be missed and remembered.
