His Life

Chief Cyprian Egbuna Anosike

Born 13th September, 1932, in Umunachi, Anambra in the Old Eastern Nigeria Province to.........Chief Cyprian Egbuna (Ozodiulu) was one of the first sons of Igbo people in Eastern Nigeria to enrol in formal education.
He attended St. Anthony's Catholic School, Dunukofia between 1939 and 1944; St. Charle's Teacher Training College, Onitsha between 1947 and 1950 and passed his Teacher's Grade 11 Certificate Examination.
He then proceeded to acquire a Banking Diploma (AIB) from Balham & Toothing College of Commerce (now South West London College) and City of London Polytechnic, between 1961 to 1964. He passed out in flying colours, taking the 10th position with distinction out of 578 candidates.

His Banking career started with the BBWA Limited (now First Bank of Nigeria Plc.) as a clerk . He then joined the London branch of ACB Limited as an intern after his studies in London. He also attended courses organised by Midland Bank for Overseas Managers before returning to Nigeria.
He worked in various capacities in the Banking Sector, rising to top Managerial positions until his retirement in......
