Great Lady
I just wanted to add that she was a wonderful lady that loved to see her family succeed. I had the pleasue of knowing and befriending her, God bless her soul.

Aunt Daisy was watching me and my sister one night and she was typing a letter. I had never seen an electric typewriter before and was so fascinated. I came up close to where she was to see how this electric type writer worked. She told me how sensitive the keys were, but I couldn't believe it. So as she was typing I stretched my arm out and applied a finger to one of the keys and instantly an unwanted letter appeared in her document. My aunt stopped and looked at me; I looked at her; and I knew I was in trouble by just that look. I had ruinned a very important document that night. We didn't have correction tape or whiteout then. So she had to start over. I sat on a chair far, far away from where she was working for the rest of the night. She and I laughed about this many time. This is one of the many, many fond memories I have. I love you Aunt Daisy.
I will cherish the memory of the last Mother's Day we had with momma. Prayer brought us together and prayer will sustain us for eternity. I love you mom.
I have fun memories of Ms. Hentz:
Anyone who was at the mothers day dinner (in which we all went to eat at Buca's Italian Restaurant with Ms. Hentz) will know why I have the nickname 'lemon head'.
I remember Mark Tucker dancing with Ms. Hentz at Millicent's celebration. Ms. Hentz danced a whole song and never missed a beat. Everyone kept saying, 'Mark, you better not make her fall ... Mark replied, ' I got this'. Mark then spun Ms. Hentz around and she stated, 'Oh my' and smiled the rest of the dance.
On one occasion, I was teasing Dailen in front of Ms. Hentz and telling Dailen she had a big head. Ms. Hentz started pointing at me, laughed and stated, 'You have the biggest head in this room. your head is way bigger than hers'. We all laughed.
Finally, I see the smile on her face, her clapping and the pure happiness she expressed at her recent birthday celebration with her immediate family.
ISAIAH 40:28,29,31
28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. There is no searching of His understanding.
29 He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.
31 But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
God speed Ms. Hentz - you always made me smile.
My Grandmother and the Wind
The wind blows but how do you know it’s there?
The wind blows all through the air.
The rushing wind that gave you a chill,
Once blew through my Grandmothers hair.
With no direction
It travels here and there
Not knowing when or where.
That chilling wind that made your eyes weep,
Once rocked my sweet Grandmother to sleep.
As she drifted
She dreamt of the wind.
The wind she could not see.
But carefully she watched;
The trees, the bees, even those darn buzz’n bees.
Wondering to herself “when will that wind blow on me?”
Then the trees started to shake
Leaves and all.
Even the bees stopped flying
And started to crawl.
But still she wondered “why won’t that wind blow on me?”
That hard wind, that when you walked,
It was tough and you just wanted to yell …“enough”!
Once rocked my gentle Grandmother right back up.
She laughed to herself “what a silly dream”.
But deep down she wondered “what it all mean?”
But the wind had no answers.
I mean, it couldn’t even be seen
So my Grandmother made a wish
Looking up at a tree
That one day the wind would whistle the answer to me.
And one day it whistled
It whistled “I’m free! I’m free!
From the world you see
I’ve been trapped flowing aimlessly
Just wanted to be missed
I’m going up to heaven to blow care free
So I had your sweet Grandmother dream of me”.
