She was a breath of fresh air whenever she was near. She could make a dog laugh if he knew how. She was a cook among the best. My grandfather Jack Lakes was her father, Charles Lakes' brother. When she would get off from cafeteria duty at the high school in Newnan, we count on seeing her on Thursdays, because she was pulling up in the driveway with a car laden with goodies. Even though she had worked all day at the school, she would come in helping to wash and clean for my grandfather, her uncle. She had jokes to. I would pay to hear that laugh again. Her laugh would make us laugh. I know she has a crowd standing around hugging and kissing and welcoming her to God's table where they are sitting around listening to the news that she brought from the family.God truly Blessed us with longevity. BUT GOD!! We must live so that we can see her again UP YONDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
