Dale "Red" Albiston was born September 26th, 1963 in Petaluma, CA to birth parents Dora Boardman and Richard Fuller. He was adopted at birth by Iris Fraiser and Keith Albiston. Dale died suddenly of a massive heart attack the afternoon of January 24th, 2020 in Dayton, OH. Dale grew up all across the world as his adoptive father was in the oil business. He spent time in the middle East and Europe and chose to follow in his father's footsteps working in the oil fields of offshore California and the North Slope of Alaska from age 18 until having a heart attack in 2012 while at work which forced him into retirement. His career choice was something he and his family were extremely proud of. He enjoyed rock music, concerts, the casino, movies, and spending as much time as he could with his family. He adored his four children and grandchildren whom he had much pride for, and even spent the past 13 years living with his oldest daughter and her four children just to be as close to them as possible. Family was extremely important to him. In recent years he was able to locate his entire biological family in which he learned he was the baby of eight children. He discovered five sisters and two brothers and was elated to get to know them and love them. He had a huge heart and knew no stranger. He spent the past 25 years of his life with his long time fiance whom he loved dearly and planned to marry this year. Dale was an amazing Son, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and loved him, but he will forever be in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.

Dale was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Keith Albiston, and Iris Drake (Fraiser), his stepfather Thomas Drake, his biological parents Dora Boardman, and Richard Fuller, two biological sisters Lynn Grant; Lori Newman, and his brother in law Mac Macdonald.

He is survived by all four of his children: Christina (Adam) Keller of Dayton, OH; their four children Kaitlin, Tyler, Trinity, and Sadie; Melissa (Mike) Eade of Copperas Cove, TX; their two children Alex and Alyssa; Stephanie (John) Swanson of Warrensburg, MO; their daughter Emily; and his only son Christopher Albiston of Abilene, TX; his Soulmate Nita Gower of Dayton, OH; her two daughters Patricia (Tony) Hudson of Hemet, CA; their three children Gabbi, Dylan, and Damien; and Tracy Gower of Hemet, CA; his best friend of many years Jim Russel of Mississippi; his sisters Traci (Andre) Siedentopf of Santa Rosa, CA; Terri Bartholomew of Petaluma, CA; and Toni Macdonald of Big Sandy, TN; his brothers Richard Bartholomew of Helena, MT; and Jim Bartholomew of Santa Rosa, CA; and many nieces, and nephews.
