I feel so blessed to have been able to spend the last few years making up for lost time. I moved my mother closer to me and at first it was a rough transition. But with amazing help from friends and family we were able to make the time count. Mom had Christmas's, Birthday's and Mother's Day's on the ocean and at our home as a family...a dream for her come true. For that, we are so grateful.

Physical illness from diabetes and it's myriad of complications plagued these years with struggle. But mom continued to find ways to beat the clock and inspire others with her amazing strength and beaming smile.

Throughout mom struggled with severe and poorly treated mental and physical illness. But one thing is for sure...she loved her children. I was born in 1974 and Creed not long after. A family split...love always brought us back back together throughout the years.

Mom married Jon Zemans and not long after Adam arrived. Despite troubled times mom adored Adam every day of life.

Grew up in Chicago, Illinois to parents Elaine and Stanley Weiner. Despite the losing her father to divorce as child, Dale was absolutely adored by her step grandfather Herman Stenn. Throughout her last days any mention of Herman and mom would wake up. I know she is giggling and having a grand time right this moment with Herman.
