Dale's New College career
Dale began working at New College in March of 2005 as a Teaching Lab Specialist in Physics. Dale started out working with the regular Physics faculty to assist students in the Introductory Physics I and II labs by providing instruction about the equipment. He also performed valuable service doing demonstrations in the Physics lecture courses and organizing and maintaining equipment. It soon became clear that Dale’s knowledge of Physics, his skill with handling complex and sophisticated equipment, and his ability to work with a diverse group of students made him the ideal person to take over the Introductory Physics labs full time. Dale was a valued colleague in the Physics program and a wonderful teacher who touched the lives of innumerable students. Dale leaves behind many friends at the College, and he will long be remembered.
