On Mar. 30, 2016, we had a memorial for Dale. One of his colleagues played classical guitar, and others told stories about Dale. After the memorial, we launched three paper lanterns. The weather and the sunset were perfect. There are three pictures from the memorial on the Gallery page.

I knew Dale for many years. He was a member of the Quality Life Association, Inc. This  is a patient network of individuals who share a surgical procedure called the Barnett Continent Intestinal Reservoir (BCIR) and other Continent Ostomy options.  I always enjoyed knowing Dale and the kind, passionate person he was. Yes he was quiet and you hardly knew he was around but after you got to know him, you realized what a gentle man he was and everyone liked him. I and our organization will never forget our friend Dale. We are saddened to learn of his death but we are better individuals for having known him. Rest in peace our friend.
