ForeverMissed

Our beloved Damon passed away after being in a car crash.  Heading home from a job in a place he loved, was involved in a car crash when his tire apparently blew out and he left the road.  Damon fought his best fight, but in the end he never regained consciousness and passed into the lords arms last night.

Damon "scooter" had  a love of life that few can match.  He loved to laugh, would give anyone the shirt off of his back and was always the first to volunteer and help out.  Damon graduated the University of Washington with a degree in mechanical engineering and went to work for Boeing as an intern, staying on after graduation - recently hitting the 25 year mark in his career.  Damon loved Boeing, so much so that he was rarely seen without a "Boeing" t shirt or airplane themed shirt at all times.

Damon had no children of his own, but is survived by his wife Katie, his brothers Marcus, Bradley and sister Ashley and her husband Jacob.  Damon is now reunited with his mom and dad who passed years ago.  He would not be happy with the thought of people being sad at his departure and would rather have a boisterous and uplifting service.  His brothers will be arranging a celebration of life in the near future.  Damon's favorite holiday was the Fourth of July - and will allow enough time for the shock to set in and arrange an appropriate send off.

In lieu o flowers or cards, Damon would have wanted donations to go to the Shriners Hospital, an organization he wholeheartedly supported.

Tributes are short messages commemorating Damon, or an expression of support to his closest family and friends. Leave your first tribute here, and others will follow.
