Dan Thomas Brown Jr., 46, a resident of 2588 Cedar Lane, Oxford passed away, Monday, August 15th at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, NC.

A native of Durham County, the son of the late Dan Thomas Brown Sr. He was of the Baptist faith and medically retired from Sumitomo.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 18th in South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem by Rev. Tracey Carey.

Surviving are his wife of twenty-eight years, Bonnie Jernigan Brown of the home, twins, Robin Brown of Youngsville, Bobby Brown  of Oxford, his mother, Sylvia Neal Brown of Durham, two sisters, Michelle Brown of Durham, Melissa Brown of Wilmington, two brothers, Ricky Brown of Durham, Robbie Brown of Chapel Hill and two grandsons.

Visitation 7:00-8:30 PM Wednesday evening,  August 17th at the Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and at other times at the home.

I miss you so much pookie!...I had a wonderful life with you and you always took wonderful care of me and our beautiful family...I think of you each and every day...things are a lot different for me now but you will always be in my heart and thoughts forver!...I have always loved you and I always will...we will meet again one day...remember you told me that you will be waiting for me.baby!

To a wonderful brother who is missed very much, its still so hard to believe you are gone. but at least i know you are in heaven now and no more suffering... I love you and miss you !

To a great brother-in-law Danny . Dan the man i miss you very much it seems to be a nightmare that we all can not wake up from no one could ever take your place Danny please do'nt worry about Bonnie she will be ok i promise you and Robin & Bobby and Ace & Logan miss you

Danny, you were a great man. You had heart and always put your family first. You will be missed by many and loved by more. May you finally get some peace.
