So many childhood memories of you on the farm--your bikes, the trips going up or coming back--stopping for ice cream "if we were really good". Pheasant hunting with you and dad (even if you both used me as the dog to scare the pheasants out of the ditches) and making Indian Chief headdresses with the pheasant feathers at Thanksgiving. You touched lives in ways you never knew. Gone too soon but your memory lives on in all of us. You are loved more than you'll ever know. Until we meet again, keep an eye on us (you might want to keep both eyes on more than one of us). Love you Danny...until we meet again.

When I was a younen I remember going into a grocery store with aunt are uncle Dan and James. Well me and James decided to steel some candy and as we were walking back to the car uncle Dan started poking me with his cane and the candy started rattling in my pocket. I tried saying it was nothing but he made me show him what it was. I was so mad when he marched us back into the store and made us give back the candy and apologize to the manager. Now 25 years later I understand the importance of what uncle Dan did that day. Now I have morals and values and would never do something dishonest. And it's thanks to lessons like these. -Nicky

Uncle Dan was a great man! Especially when it came to kids, he had the biggest heart! I remember camping with aunt sue, uncle dan, chris, Cindy, and james. They had this doberman pincher. This dog ripped the bumper off of their camper. Uncle dan told James and I to go get the dog. He had a great laugh when this dog was dragging James and I around the campground lol!
