Daniel Joseph Champion, age 22, of Woodstown NJ, passed away suddenly on July 18, 2014.
Daniel was a caring person with a heart of gold. He loved life and cherished his family. He will be deeply missed.
Beloved son of Douglas E. Champion (Gloria) of Woodstown, and Susan Champion-Berstecher (Wadell Smith) of Pine Hill. Loving grandson of Betty Champion of Mullica Hill. Dear brother of Lauren Feuker (Charles) of Pennsville, and loving uncle of Luke. Daniel also has many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Viewing at Fertig Funeral Home, 63 N. Main Street, Mullica Hill, NJ on Tues., July 22, 2014 from 3-5pm; service at 5pm. Interment will be private.

There are no words to heal your sorrow. There are no words to ease your pain. I only know that God has a plan for all of us, whether we like the journey he sends us on or not, its his plan. Be strong for each other, know Daniel is with loved ones that have gone before him and they will show him the new light. He will forever live in your hearts and you will always cherish the time, no matter how long it was that you had him.

I just heard about Dan. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as they go through this tragic loss. God called an angle far too soon. The Lord giveth and The Lord taketh away praise in The Lord Jesus Christ amen

My heart goes out to the family, Sgt, Champion I know you loved Danny with all your heart. I'm hear if you need me. He is now in a much better place and will be taken care of until you meet again. Know that he will be looking down on you and saying thank you Dad.

I will always remember all the nights we just sat around talking, about anything and everything. You would bring food over cuz you knew i could cook, and we would just hangout, watching the Phils or Eagles. So simple but always a good time.Such an intelligent guy, and like a lil brother to me.
