Dan was the oldest child born to our parents, Richard and Marian Kline.  He is preceded in death by our parents and our brother Doug.  I'm the only living relative in his immediate family.

Dan served in the US Navy.  After being honorably discharged from the Navy he started his career as an over-the-road truck driver.  He retired from driving due to health reasons associated with type 2 diabetes.  He resided in Bloomington,  IL until his passing. 

I remained in close contact with Dan after our mother died in 2003.  I was able to visit him just months before his passing.  My husband and I were able to briefly share the gospel with him at that time. 

Through a series of medical events, Dan was hospitalized and entered into a coma.  We were able to pray over him before allowing the medical team to remove his life support (Dan's wishes).  

Due to a series of happenings, it is our belief that he went to be with the Lord and to be reunited with my mother and brother. 

I thank everyone who prayed for him through the years.  And I also thank everyone who called him a friend.

He is greatly missed.
