I can not believe it is already two years since you gained your wings, Ifemi. I have tried to live through it, I am still trying to live through it, and will continue to as long as I shall live. I know that you are watching over us, and also engaged in your Heavenly Father's business on the other side of the veil. I longed for the day when I would sit little Daniel down to tell him how wonderful a father you were. He is definitely showing me some of your stunts already, especially when I longed for messages or signs from you. He is definitely a Junior. It has been a harder day today, even when I tried to wear a smiling face. I made silly mistakes at work, but I am thankful for the hugs, prayers, support, and encouragement I received from family and friends. Little Daniel starts preschool tomorrow. He would have started today, but I wasn't coordinated enough to take him in. You will always live in our hearts. The memories linger on, and I will hold to them till the morning of resurrection till I see you again. Continue to rest in the Lord's bosom, my love.

It's already two years, Dad. I still cannot believe that I have stayed two years without hearing your encouraging words to me as a missionary. I could not see you to show you, my little family. I now have two children, Bountiful and Moriancumer. I still whisper into their ears about you and your lovely wife. My life will be forever indebted to your fatherly examples as you cared for Modesire, Vero, Lucy, Helaman, and Daniel Jr. I love and miss you so much, Dad. My wife loves and misses you too. My kids, I know, would have had an amazing time with their granddad. Keep on resting in the Lord's bosom till we meet again to part no more!

God be with you till we meet again! Daddy I really miss you so much and it has dawned on me that I will never get to see you in this life again. The plan of salvation is my greatest hope of getting to see you again. I and my wife still remember all the love and time we spent together in Uyo and Calabar. You are my greatest model and mentor. I could not get to learn all that I needed to learn from you. But I know that God's plan will always be the best for all of us.

We love you so much dad...

I am grateful to Heavenly Father who made our path to cross. Such a simple and friendly soul you were. Never a dull moment with you. Thank you for your show of love towards me and my family, waiting with your wife for me to come out of theatre and ensuring I was safe gave me a big sense of love. I am grateful for the fun we had while you were in Nigeria. I wished you had stayed a little longer for my friend but Heavenly Father knows it better. Farewell Daniel
God be with you till we meet again.

Ifemi, I am happy you are no more in pain. As hard as it is to let go, I know that you are in a better place. I am grateful for the love we shared, the family we have, the plan of salvation, and the gift of atonement.
You left me with a lot of responsibilities, and I promise you that I will give them my best. Sleep on my love, friend, gist partner, husband, and companion. We will tell DJ what an icon of love and patriotism you are.

Happy Birthday in Heaven Ifemi!!

July 12, 2022
It's your first birthday in Heaven, and we hope you have a wonderful celebration with all our loved ones who passed on before you. Happy 67th birthday, Ifemi! Though it's been a more harrowing ride without you, I tried to face the world each day with a smiling face, but deep inside, the hurt is still as fresh as ever. I keep pushing because I know that's what you will have me do. I wish Heaven could allow you to come for a visit! Thank you for the gift of Little Daniel, who reminds us of you every second, bringing sunshine and laughter to us all. He's indeed a replica of you. We loved you and will keep loving you till the morning of resurrection! Sun re Ifemi!!!

Happy Wedding Anniversary Ifemi

January 13, 2022
It's our first wedding anniversary without you here with me, Ifemi. Thank you for sending me a sign that you're still my love, friend, and sweetheart. I am glad I said 'yes I do' to you four years ago. Though short, I can't compare our adventures to the years!!! Thank you for taking me with you on those last rides of your sojourn here in mortality. It's so hard without you here, but with the help of the Lord, I know we can do hard things. Couldn't have written a complete story of my life without you. Little Daniel is surely keeping me on my toes like you said he would. So grateful, you left that special bundle of joy for me to hold and cherish till we meet in the morning of the resurrection. Rest on my beloved! I hope you enjoyed our day!!
