We were absolutely devastated to hear of Daniel's passing. Words are very hard to come by to describe a true gentleman that was loved and so greatly respected by so many.
Daniel was truly one in a million. From the first moment we met him we gained a friend and work colleague for life. Daniel led by example he lived life to the fullest, was professional, driven and motivated and where ever he was to what ever he was doing it would shine around him and be passed on to the ones around him.
Our sincere thoughts, prayers and strength to Sue and Children - May we gather strength and celebrate the life of a man who will be forever missed but so greatly loved and adored.

It was such a shock to hear of Daniels passing I caught up with Daniel in his office a week before and as always is door was wide open.
With a great smile firm handshake and take a seat huckleberry what’s up.
Then it was I got a great joke for you . Gave Daniel a bottle of Huckleberry’s Moonshine whiskey even a bigger smile now
Daniel when you arrived at pioneer you were like a breath of fresh air ,sea breeze ( Fremantle doctor ) you immediately sorted out problems gave us your thoughts and vision of the future for pioneer
From that first meeting I held you in the highest regard and it was still present when we caught up last time
To Sue and family ( David) I send my condolences and sincere thoughts ♥️

DANIEL WYATT - Message of Condolences from Collaboration Engineering Solutions and Products Limited (CESP – AFRICA), Nairobi – Kenya
On behalf of the entire CESP – AFRICA Fraternity, we would like to pass our heartfelt condolences to the family of Mr. Daniel Wyatt and Pioneer Group at large. We learnt of Daniel’s demise with great shock. Since we established business relationship with Pioneer Tanks which by then was referred to as Bluescope Tanks. We have had an amazing business and personal relationship with Daniel for the time we have known him. Daniel was always willing to listen to our needs and always went beyond business call to ensure we felt supported in all the projects we did together with Pioneer Tanks. In 2015 he helped us successfully complete one of the biggest projects our company has on its portfolio which is a real show piece of best water technologies at work in Kenya. We shall forever be indebted to Daniel for all the support he gave us on this project.
Daniel was kind hearted, fun to be around, bubbly, professional and a great educator in business. I have met Daniel in Australia when I visited Pioneer Tanks and he was a great host there. I have also met Daniel in an exhibition in Dubai and Kenya and we had an amazing time exchanging ideas on how we can both grow our businesses. He was a brilliant and astute businessman who put personal relationship and commitment before transaction dealing. We thank Daniel for all that he has shared with us.
May God comfort Daniel’s family during this trying time.
Fare thee Well Daniel Wyatt. Till we meet again God be with you.

Daniel was a such a lovely man. As soon as you met him you felt as if you had made a friend for life. He was one of the most easy going, fun loving, full of life people I have ever met. We only saw each other at Pioneer dealer conferences but when we caught up each time for a drink or 3 it was like we had seen each other only yesterday. He just had that way about him - a natural ease with people. A life well lived but taken far too soon. He will be missed by so many. My thoughts are with Sue and his family and the whole Pioneer team

Daniel played an important role for me and my company EnergyWise Technology to develop an enduring relationship with Pioneer. Our shared early employment history also played some part. Both on the phone and in person Daniel was both kind and professional at the same time. He will be sorely missed. My thoughts are with Daniel's family and colleagues at this difficult time. Girmay Worres

Daniel was a great leader, I would always see him smiling and treating everyone as equals. He gave my wife a chance when no one else would, he sponsored our team with Pioneer Water Tank shirts and his door was always open for a quick chat. He was loved and respected by all he ever crossed paths with and i dont think I have met or will meet a more genuine caring person whose drive led Pioneer Water Tanks where it is today - You will be missed

I was driving on my way to a site yesterday when this song came onto my playlist.

The real sorrow here is not for Daniel who lived a full life but for his wife Sue who he clearly loved dearly his children who were so precious to him and who won't get more time to build memories with their father.  His work colleges and the dealer network who will need to make do without his wisdom and guidance. And for all who called him a friend who no longer have his warmth of character to comfort them.

A mark of a great man is the loss we are all feeling so deeply, rest in peace Daniel.
Our hearts go out to all that loved you

Daniel Sir Elton John

Lyrics
Daniel is traveling tonight on a plane
I can see the red tail lights heading for Spain
And I can see Daniel waving goodbye
Oh it looks like Daniel, must be the clouds in my eyes
They say Spain is pretty though I've never been
And Daniel says it's the best place that he's ever seen
He should know, he's been there enough
Oh I miss Daniel, oh I miss him so much, oh
Daniel my brother you are older than me
Do you still feel the pain of the scars that won't heal?
Your eyes have died but you see more than I
Daniel you're a star in the face of the sky
Oh Daniel my brother you are older than me
Do you still feel the pain of the scars that won't heal?
Your eyes have died but you see more than I
Daniel you're a star in the face of the sky
Daniel is traveling tonight on a plane
And I can see the red tail lights heading for Spain
And I can see Daniel waving goodbye
Oh it looks like Daniel, it must be the clouds in my eyes
Oh God it looks like Daniel, must be the clouds in my eyes

Our first meeting of Daniel

March 24, 2021
It was at our first Pioneer Water Tank Conference which was held in Tanunda SA in 2015 that we meet Daniel.  As were new distributors on the block, we had the privilege of meeting Daniel. The very Initial introduction was, shit, he seems like a nice bloke and easy to talk too as he’d made us feel very welcome.  But being a General Manager (with respect) it’s not usual you hear this within a work place,,, but it was on a personal and work basis.
We found this out a little later in the evening when we had all knocked off our duties and headed back to ‘someone’s’ room… Wow, we thought, being a part of this Pioneer Crew is right up our alley.  I think we’d all forgotten what we’d learnt that day!!  Then, Daniel along with a lot of other distributors, resided back in our room.  After kicking Daniel and others OUT at a time we do not remember, we assume he had a good night sleep.
Then our last Conference with Daniel was in Wollongong 2019 (pre Covid) ( I recall  was where he went to College & grew up ?) stopped the mini bus to buy a carton of beer to share with everyone for the trip to the Accommodation Rooms.  We thought,,, really!! What GM does that – Daniel does.
When speaking with Daniel, no matter what the call was about, he asked ‘has Peter got a joke for me?’ which he obviously enjoyed a good time.
We didn’t have the opportunity to know him well like most others but to us, he was generally a great fella.  He was so genuine and approachable and was on the same level every time no matter what the situation was.
RIP Daniel, you will be sadly missed. And never forgotten.

Daniel Wyatt - The Man, The Legend, The Superman.

March 24, 2021
“What would Daniel do if he’d be challenged with the same issue” is a question; I often ask myself when faced with difficult work tasks.

Authentic, Ethical, Inspirational, Adaptive, Resilient, Exemplary, Compassionate, Just, Optimistic, Visionary. A man cannot be all and more – it is impossible. For a large part of my life, I thought Kal-El was one and only superman, the world had. I, certainly, was wrong.

Daniel was a true personification of the “upwards and onwards” school of thought. Despite all the noise around him, he was able to help people bring the best out in themselves.

My education from him feels incomplete. May be we never say good-bye to great mentors? May be the guidance, as it slips into our heads never leave. May be his mentorship does not end here. May be what he has given to me is the opportunity to reflect and be worthy of his investment.

Retirement will mean a big shift in Daniel’s life, of not having meetings or teammates around him or the chance to compete again. God, though, must be delighted to have him back as a help, for he needs to create many more like Daniel.

Some are born to greatness. Daniel acquired it. In some ways, that is the greater achievement.

When I retire, I will proudly tell my kids, I once served a superman.

My mentor is not gone, he is simply watching over from a higher place.
