Miss you!

Danny was my friend I loved him 30 years ago he was at my wedding we worked together and we hung out together you could always count on Danny always up if you were feeling bad he would be there to cheer you up. Danny had just called me to visit Mom and Dad I wish I would have seen him. Life is short please make time for your friends and family you never know .l miss you brother I know you're with the Lord Bless you 

BIG Dan you were Best Friends with my husband Danny Pcolar. You grew up together in New Jersey. My Danny passed away November 4, 2019....8 months ago from cancer he was 61.
Still learning how to live without him. It hurts. I know God has him in His arms and one day I will see him. You kept InTouch with me and I felt comfort. Sharing your memories of being with Danny made me happy. I have a voice mail message from you on my phone. I will always keep it. It's like you are still here. And Yes you are still here... in everyone that knew you! I will miss you terribly! A Big Heart full of Love and I'm Thankful to know you! Eternity with God in Heaven! Until then; I'll be seeing you. I Love you BIG DAN!

When you think of Danny , you cant help but remember story on top of story that he would tell. There are so many that when you hear them  or read them , you would think they are all made up. But for the lucky ones that were close to him , you were there to validate each one of them.

So Here's  one of the many that my co-workers reminded me about yesterday when Danny was part of the RPS crew. 

We were in the process of doing a required "Tool Box Safety talk " out on a job-site . I don't remember what the talk was about , but Danny being Danny kept talking during it and interrupting. After a few Fat Jokes were thrown out there, Danny gave his standard retort of "Ill show you fat " . 

We laughed and he said "How would you like to see me drop my satchels on the ground and do a split  "   After a good laugh Dan asked us to throw out some cash and he would do it.
If you could imagine   a 6'4ish , biscuit under 400lb man  , drop and do a split , imagine it !!

Much to our surprise ,he did.  It is a lasting image that will never leave the 10 of us that saw it !

As he did his split , he exclaimed " Balls on the ground , Balls on the ground "

And for that he won the $25 Wawa gift card for the day !

(I'm sorry if i offend anyone, but there really is no other way to tell that story . My Mom doesn't do the "google thing" so she won't see this. And don't tell her  !!  )

Your smile, BIG hug and weekly phone call always put the biggest smile on my face.  I will never forget ALL the good times we had over the last 37 years!  My parties will never be the same without you, but you will always be there in spirit!  RIP "Big Dan".

How  do you say goodbye to someone you called brother my heart aches . To know Dan was to love Dan he’s was big as bear  with a teddy bear heart he would give you the shirt off his back as some of our other brothers have said. You could call him at anytime for help and he would be there no matter what it was.  He made everything gathering no matter how many there were that day he showed up.  Danny gave the best Higgs and you always got one he shallowed you up in with and I love ya brother. He always had some kind of a joke to tell  he  loved music and was famous in our group for making up his own words to a song  41 years I was lucky enough to call him friend & brother
